The Subject

After taking a few photo classes, my husband has been subject to being the subject of my "practicing". Although most of the time he gets annoyed with me...yesterday he let me do a photo shoot and so I had to show off how hot my hubby is!

Giving Thanks

Last night Peter and I decided to put up our Christmas tree & bake pumpkin pie. Since we are going to be in Costa Rica over Thanksgiving week -- we decided that we would jump start the season. We decorated our tree and admired our new and bright white lights. Peter made an excellent pumpkin pie which is one of the many reasons I love him (he can cook!).
There is so much to be thankful for this year. Here are a few on my list this year:
- my new marriage
- my new kitty
- a good job
- a great church community
- ability to own a home
- health
- friendships
- supportive family
- caribou coffee
- being loved
What are you thankful for this year?

The Pampered Patient

My friends, Tricia Harding and Laura Groen, just launched a website for cancer patients, caregivers, and their friends/family. The website is located at www.thepamperedpatient.com, and it features products, gifts, and resources designed to make cancer livable. They are trying to get the word out about the site, so if you know of someone who might benefit from it, please forward this information on to them. Better yet, send it on to everyone you know. You never know how someone's life might be affected by cancer.
